It maybe that you are running your own projects and would find it reassuring to get advice along the way.
Advice and Guidance | Education
With 10 years experience working in HE (higher education) I have gained lots of experience writing new courses and implementing successfully run architecture and design programmes that deliver a high quality experience for the attending students. You might be thinking of setting up a short course by yourself, or perhaps you are interested in hosting in house training for new and existing staff. It maybe that would like further information on how to begin to structure any type of course and the steps to move through before doing so.
Conferences and Events
Over the last 10 years I have organised and hosted multiple internationally recognised conferences and events on behalf of various global networks. The majority of these I have designed and created singlehandedly with little to no funding! This has given me a rich background of experience in how to raise sponsorship funds, marketing knowledge, graphic design, budgets for large and small scale events. I have become involved with each and every aspect of all the events I have designed and hosted, from ordering the food to coordinating the flights and hotels of international guests to also designing the programme for the event. As an academic, I have also been responsible for reviewing the papers and conference material before it has been presented. This knowledge has been invaluable to me throughout my career and I would be glad to share it with anyone who may need support organising an event, no matter how big or small!
